About
Chris Holzwart founded holzarch in 2021. He is an architect who understands the process it takes to start a project with an idea and carry it through to realization. He bases each of his innovative designs on the firm’s values —
Client-Driven Design
Connection with Context
Community Enrichment
Chris graduated with high distinction from the University of Michigan -
Taubman College of Architecture & Urban Planning.
Prior to founding holzarch, he was a studio lead within a top design firm in Denver for eight years.
Chris established his own practice because he is driven by his passion for serving clients and engaging with them to produce designs that contribute to their quality of life.
Outside of architecture, Chris and his wife enjoy raising their beautiful and precocious young son, just east of downtown Denver.

“
Working with holzarch was an absolute pleasure. Chris went above and beyond to ensure that he understood my wants and needs for my brick and mortar retail space, and he translated them into a beautiful design for my business.”

“
holzarch demonstrated exceptional design creativity, expertise and professionalism. My vision of a mountain modern cabin was transformed into a home designed with a refined integration of natural materials while pushing the boundaries of unique and functional living spaces.
